Who We Are
Norwegian Aero Solution AS was established in august 2024 by the main shareholders from The Kjos and Østnes families. Bjørn Kjos known as the founder of the airline Norwegian and Østnes as owners of Kjell A Østnes AS, support and distributor of helicopter parts since 1993.
MISSION
The story behind
The reason for establishing a new maintenance facility was based on that there is seen a coming marked in the offshore sector for other types of helicopters than those operating in the North Sea today.
One of the types to enter into the market is Leonardo helicopter types.
Norwegian Aero Solutions (NAS) will be having it`s operation at Eggemoen airport, where Eggemoen Aviation and Technology park is located, only 50 minutes away from Gardermoen (OSL). This benefits us in attracting technicians to come and work for us, even on a remote location.
NAS will be building up and offering maintenance services to all operators of the Leonardo helicopters within the types of AW139, AW169 and AW189, with focus on the Nordics and European market.

Norwegian Aero Solutions is certified according to NS‑EN ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and NS‑EN ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management).
The certifications are issued by kiwa, an independent and internationally recognized certification body.
These standards confirm our commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and responsible environmental practices across all operations.
